From 16 May 2006 to 16 October 2006, the second CORNET call for proposals for transnational collective research projects will be open.
Participation in the call enables transnational collaboration between federations, associations or groupings of industrial enterprises. Research and technology organisations (RTO) and university research laboratories may participate as subcontractors.
Funding of the projects will be allocated according to the rules of the national/regional programmes involved in CORNET. That means, every member of a project consortium will be funded by the ministry or funding agency of his own region or country.
On CORNET level there will be coordinating actions for the evaluation process of project proposals, but the final decision for funding will be in the hands of the respective national and regional agencies according to the existing funding regulations.
Please note: The European Commission is not involved in the organisation of the call. It falls under the sole responisibility of the participating ministries and agencies.
